Stephan Reinhardt:" The 2019 Riesling Pettenthal GG is intensely golden-yellow in its color and opens with a very warm and generous but elegant bouquet that indicates very little to no sulfur management, along with aromas of ripe tropical fruit, refined or weathered slate and even herbal notes. Full-bodied and rich but piquant and finessed on the palate, this is another more "natural" wine style compared to the other crus from this vintage. The wine has fine tannins, vitality and also finesse, with aromas of juicy peach and apricot flesh and skin on the finish. Very good. Tasted as a cask sample in May 2020. Biodynamic production."
