Round and concentrated on the palate, this juicy, fully ripe and salty-piquant Riesling represents perfectly ripe fruit and a great terroir even in these warming times. The wine is reminiscent of stewed apples and reveals a fine phenolic grip and lingering salinity. This Hipping is one of the finest wines from the red slope produced in the 2019 vintage. Tasted as a sample in May 2020."
