Parker:" The Mittelheim 2023 Sankt Nikolaus Riesling trocken GG is deep, intense and initially a little untamed yet then very soon refined, fresh and spicy or slightly flinty on the delicate, beautifully aromatic and balanced nose that represents the warmth of the site and its nearness to the Rhine River. Generous yet still refined also on the palate, this is a full-bodied and rich yet very mineral, complex and sustainable Riesling with gentle power and intensity yet the elegance, finesse and vitality of vines that are at least 50 years old and planted in calcareous silt and loess soils. This is a great, already expressive Sankt Nikolaus with a long and intense finish. Tasted as a sample in August 2024. To be bottled in February next year and released May 1, 2025. "
